Chicago native Dr. Paul K. Haynes serves as an officer for the Department of Internal Medicine at Franciscan Health Indianapolis. He is a member of the Board of Managers for The Endoscopy Center at St. Francis in Indianapolis and the Mooresville Endoscopy Center in Mooresville, IN. He sees patients in Indianapolis, Greensburg, and Mooresville, Indiana.
Committed to providing his patients with the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatments, Dr. Haynes has been the principal investigator of several studies on treating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and gastroparesis. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Haynes graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. After earning a Master of Science Degree at Michigan State University, he enrolled in Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, graduating in 1999. Dr. Haynes completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He joined Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2005.
Dr. Haynes enjoys hiking and camping with his family in his free time.

Where do I start, my experience with Dr. Haynes started with my mom, and she so generously passed her genetic disease on to me. From day one Dr. Haynes has been sincerely the best Dr. I have ever had, he is kind and patient, even though I get very nervous with every visit, by the time the appointment is over I am at ease and without a doubt my blood pressure has came down significantly. I would not trust anyone else with my disease. Thank you for your kindness and patience and caring demeanor! It may not mean much to some but it sure does to me.

He is the best Dr ever . He take care of my Gastroparesis and my ileostomy my irritable bowel syndrome and my bleeding ulcer He cares about his patients and takes time with me and answers all my questions that I mite have . His birthday is in September and so is mine close together . We told each other happy birthday . He’s a friendly doctor . There are other patients who comes to his office that knows me I told them how special a doctor he is and how he help me . I feel better than I ever have cause of Dr Haynes . I’m glad hes my doctor . After many bad experiences with not being heard by drs. I have finally found one with old school values, who spends time with his patients and is not treating you like a part on an assembly line. Dr.Haynes took time to hear my problems and researched my history and has given me natural medicine as well as the proper prescription for my issues. I will forever be greatful for this office. I am not as afraid to go to my appointments because I know there actually going to have follow through and listen to me. They treat you like a human with a name not a number with an insurance card. I will recommend this office to all my friends and family.
